Brijinder S. Minhas, Ph.D., HCLD, ELD, ALD, CC, MBA is a Vice President on MidCap Advisors’ Healthcare team, where he works with physicians in the fertility field with a focus on adding value to their practices. Formerly, Dr. Minhas served as the Chief Operating Officer of NewLIFE for twenty-two years.
Dr. Minhas brings thirty-nine years of combined clinical, laboratory, and business expertise in the field of fertility. He is Board Certified in Human Embryology and Andrology by the American Board of Bioanalysis and he has published and lectured extensively on the many facets of mammalian reproduction with a primary focus on the diagnosis and treatment of male causes of infertility. As a pioneer in the field of male infertility, he has performed thousands of micromanipulation procedures to include ICSI, Assisted Hatching, and Embryo Biopsy for pre-implantation genetic testing. Dr. Minhas has trained graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, medical students, residents, and fellows during his tenure with the University of Tennessee and in East Tennessee State University. Dr. Minhas served as Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology before moving to the University of Tennessee as their Chief of Reproductive Biology in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Prior to NewLIFE, Dr. Minhas served as Regional Scientific Director and Regional Vice President of Operations for the largest multi-site, national provider of physician practice management services in reproductive medicine and infertility. He has served on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) study sections and is a member of a broad list of professional societies, including ASRM, ABB, the College of Reproductive Biology, and the International Embryo Transfer Society.
