MidCap Advisors is pleased to announce the opening of its new Kansas City office. Laura Maver Ward and James R. Ward have been named Managing Directors in charge of MidCap Advisors’ newest office.


ward_laura_webLaura Maver Ward is an accomplished entrepreneur and businesswoman with 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, management consulting, executive coaching, manufacturing and business services. Ms. Ward is a Certified Business Intermediary, a Certified Exit Planner, and a licensed Real Estate Broker in both Kansas and Missouri. In addition to helping business owners meet their personal, business and financial goals, Ms. Ward also works closely with a select group of private equity investors and entrepreneurs to help them design and implement successful targeted acquisition programs.

ward_jim_webJim Ward is an accomplished entrepreneur and businessman with more than 30 years of experience in management consulting, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and information technology. Jim is President of the Kansas City Business Broker’s Association (KCBBA) and the past President of the Kansas City Quality Assurance Association. He is a Licensed Real Estate Broker, a Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser (CMEA) and a Certified Senior Business Analyst (CSBA).
