Jim Pringle, Consultant, Small Business Group

 

jim_pringleJim Pringle is an experienced business owner, serial entrepreneur and business broker. In those roles, Jim has bought, built, and sold over a dozen companies over 20 years.

An Austin native, Jim grew up as part of a family-owned, home building and real estate development business. Following in his father's footsteps, Jim started his own company and grew it into one of Austin's top residential home builders and developers of commercial and multi-use properties. After selling that business, Jim started the Original Austin Shirt Company and built it into one of the largest textile screen printing companies in Texas.

Jim's specialty is selling small family-owned businesses. Given the diversity and depth of his experiences and his extensive business brokerage experience, Jim serves as an consultant to MidCap Advisors' Small Business Division on the smaller transactions in which MidCap is asked to play a role.
