Over his career, Joe has advised clients on matters relating to mergers & acquisitions, sales of businesses, recapitalization transactions, raising capital, ownership transitions, management buy-outs, business valuations, and other management consulting services. As an investment banker, certified public accountant, and corporate executive, Joe has worked on over 30 merger, acquisition and sale of business transactions and completed over 50 formal business valuation engagements. Joe also served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and ultimately President of a $130 million transportation and logistics business, and provided merger & acquisition services as a Corporate Development Director for Penske Truck Leasing and Penske Logistics. In addition to providing corporate financial advisory services, he has also provided expert witness testimony on matters related to business valuations. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in the field of Accounting from Bloomsburg University and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Business Appraiser. He completed extensive formal business valuation education and passed all examinations required by the American Society of Appraisers and The Institute of Business Appraisers. Joe is also a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Vistage International Trusted Advisor Group, and the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
