Erik Andersen joined MidCap Advisors in 2011 as a Senior Analyst of the firm. Erik specializes in transaction marketing, analysis and advisory for both buy-side and sell-side engagements in a variety of industries. Erik heads the Deal Execution team at MidCap and is responsible for financial analysis and valuation, marketing transactions, and organizing the due diligence process. As the head of the deal execution team, Erik also manages the work and development of MidCap analysts and interns.
Erik holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Providence College. In 2011, Erik led a team from Baruch to win the prestigious ACG Cup, an intercollegiate case study competition sponsored by the New York Association for Corporate Growth.
