Merger & Acquisition Internship

business_school_internship
Get a head start on your career - while you're still in school.  An internship can help you explore the work habits and skills that will be vital to your future success.  An internship can also help you gain valuable contacts in the business world.

An internship at MidCap Advisors is a great opportunity to learn about the middle market merger and acquisition business.  You will work side by side with deal makers, be a part of the deal team.  At MidCap, interns are not just number crunchers, they are involved in the entire deal process.

MidCap offers three internships per year; spring, summer and fall.  They correspond to the  academic calendar.  We typically have 1-2 interns at a time.  As a small firm, we do not have a formal training program for interns.  Instead, you will learn by working on real projects for real clients.  You will gain experience in analyzing financial statements, preparing financial models, conducting industry and company specific research, and helping to draft offering memoranda and reports.

The ideal candidate will be a junior or senior in college or in business school.  Candidates should have a finance or business background and have taken at least two accounting courses.  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint are assumed.

MidCap internships are located in our New York City office and require a 3-4 month commitment.
